Greta Van Susteren made it clear that she was not fired from Fox News but that she left on her own. Van Susteren tweeted, “I left fox-I was not let go.”

The former “On the Record” host tweet was in response to a question from a fella name Chris P Bacon.

Bacon asked Van Susteren if Fox News fired her due to her doing “a show on Hillary’s health?”

Last week, Van Susteren announced that she was leaving Fox News. Van Susteren said that her departure was due to her not being happy for the last few years while at Fox News, as well as a clause in her contract which allowed her to leave without any financial penalties.

Van Susteren’s departure from Fox News came on the same day that the network settled with Van Susteren’s former colleague, Gretchen Carlson, in a sexual harassment lawsuit against the network’s former CEO Roger Ailes.

Van Susteren, Bill O’Reilly, and Sean Hannity were amongst the leading voices discounting Carlson’s claims. Carlson’s claims received a boost after Megyn Kelly said that she had had similar experiences with Ailes.

Fox News agreed to pay Carlson $20 million and the network apologized for the experiences she had with Ailes.

Fox News also settled with two other women. Van Susteren has not commented publicly about Fox News’ settlement with Carlson and the two other women.

However, Van Susteren has commented about Fox News not giving her all of her pictures. Last Thursday, Van Susteren went to her Facebook page to express her displeasure with Fox News keeping her belongings.

Van Susteren wrote, “There are almost 15 years of memories. How about my pictures of Greta Home and Academy in Haiti? Of the children? That has nothing to do with Fox.”

Neither Van Susteren or Fox News have said whether the former “On the Record” host has received all of her belongings that she listed on her Facebook page last Thursday.
